In August of 2007, our congregation lost just about everything in a disastrous flood. We were blessed by the generous donations from UUs all over the country. In our commitment to work towards the promotion of justice and human rights, we strive to build community that affirms reason, tolerance, honesty and compassion. Each year we choose several local and international Social Action Projects.
Some of our projects include: Thanksgiving Dinner at City Mission Adoption of a Christmas family Annual Mitten Tree, with hats, scarves, gloves and mittens Soup-er Bowl Sunday Habitat for Humanity Church Build team Salvation Army toy and food sorting and packaging Guest at Your Table collection Backpacks and school supplies for kids Race for Life Team Gaden Shartse Tibetan Monks CHOPIN Hall, Hope House, Open Arms, City Mission Century Health, Equality Ohio, Special Kids Therapy
